I've now worked my way through 1/3 of all of the editing that needs to be done on the book. The final total chaper count is yet to be determined, but so far, there are twelve chapters which have been written, edited, and formatted for the final manuscript. The edits have been going quite well, and hopefully will continue to do so. At the rate they are getting done, I am hopefull that the book should be finished and ready for publication and sale by the end of September 2012.
To celebrate the progress, here's another little teaser from the book...
Realizing she was running late, Mary Elizabeth
rushed to gather her things to make sure she got to the department chair
meeting with Father Barrett on time. Luckily, she make it to the conference
room with a few minutes to spare and slipped inside and made her way to her
seat. As soon as she sat, she could feel his eyes on her, and glancing up Mary
Elizabeth saw that Father Barrett was just staring at her. She couldn’t help
but blush as she started wondering why he was looking at her with such
intensity, and almost began to wish that he was maybe undressing her with his
eyes.
That thought sent Mary Elizabeth’s thoughts off on
a wild tangent as she began wondering what Father Barrett looked like with his
collar off, which led to her imagining him with his pants off too. The more explicit Mary Elizabeth’s thoughts
became, the more flustered she felt as her face reddened from the blush that
had spread across her cheeks.
